Gabriola Skatepark

Background

The Huxley Community Park conceptual master plan, completed in 2014, identifies Huxley Park as the future location for the Gabriola Skatepark.

Project Timeline

In 2017, local riders and interested community members were invited to provide input into the design of their park and to review the draft design to make sure it satisfied their needs. Once the final construction drawings and cost estimates are completed in 2018, it is anticipated that matching funding will be pursued in the form of grants and donations.
