Public Event Notice - Nanoose Fire Department 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) invites the community to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Nanoose Volunteer Fire Department on May 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! This casual open house, drop-in style event will have activities for all ages including the jaws of life, fire hose, airpack and fire extinguisher demonstrations, face painting, food trucks and more. Come join in on the fun and learn about fire and emergency services in your community from first responders who will be in attendance. All are welcome!
