Notice of Public Hearing for Official Community Plan and Zoning Amendment PL2023-045

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) advises of a public hearing regarding an Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Amendment respecting 957 Lee Road and 1236 Island Highway West in Electoral Area G.  The purpose of the proposed bylaws is to amend the Electoral Area G OCP and rezone the subject properties to accommodate near-term and long-term expansion requirements of the French Creek Pollution Control Centre, including the designation of an area adjacent to French Creek as Park Land/Green Space/ Natural Area.
